SUSTech Asset Management Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the "Asset Company"), established in December 2014, is a state-owned assets operating company wholly owned by Southern University of Science and Technology (hereinafter referred to as "SUSTech"), and is the only platform for outreach investment and business of the University. At present, the Asset Company has invested in more than 40 enterprises using different models including wholly-owned, holding and equity participation. Six out of the 40 enterprises are from within the Shenzhen Peacock Plan. The region of investment covers Shenzhen, Beijing, Guangzhou, Tianjin, Zhejiang, Anhui, Inner Mongolia and other places. The field of investment involves high-tech industries such as new energy, new materials, energy-saving and environmental protection, aerospace, marine science and technology, electronic science and technology, and medicine.
