河北地质大学马克思主义教学部是学校直属的独立建制二级单位，是全校思想政治理论课教学部门和马克思主义理论研究机构、马克思主义理论学科点的依托单位。 Q9:5tF8-3Gx5?,g
教学部现有教职工40人，其中教授7人、副教授23人。赵庆元被评为全国优秀教师，金源云当选学校优秀教师标兵，王雅卓获得河北省青年教师讲课比赛二等奖。近年来先后在国家级和省部级核心期刊上发表学术论文100余篇，出版学术专著、教材10余部，承担并完成国家社科基金后期资助项目、河北省社科基金项目、河北省科技厅软科学项目等20余项，获得河北省社科优秀成果奖二等奖、三等奖多项。 K9=6dr1!7L01!5S

School of Social Science Hebei GEO University, formerly known as School of Humanities and Social Science, was established in 2011, which is composed of General Office, Institute of Marxism General Principles，Institute of Chinese Modern and Contemporary History, Institute of Sinicized Marxism, Institute of Cultivation of Ethic Thought and Fundamentals of Law, and literature reference room. At present, there are 40 faculty members, of whom 35 are Chinese Communist Party members. The department now has 38 full-time teachers, including 10 professors, 16 associate professors, and 10 lecturers, teachers with associate-senior or above titles accounting for 67%. 8 teachers have doctor degree, 25 have master degree, 4 are Ph.D. candidate, full-time teacher with master degree or above degree occupying 97%. Some teachers are awarded with National Outstanding Teacher, and some are awarded with Young Expert of Social Science in Hebei Province. Most teachers participate in academic organizations at provincial, ministerial or even national level, and some of them holding academic posts. p6=,JJ8;30x,=5P
School of Social Science plays an import role in ideological and political education, by undertaking all courses of ideological and political theory and some elective courses of humanities and social sciences. Our School attaches importance to course construction, continues to deepen teaching reform and emphasize distinctive teaching features of comprehensive quality cultivation. Substantial accomplishments in course construction have been achieved, with the establishment of standardized and scientific teaching management system. Marxism General Principles，Outline of Chinese Modern and Contemporary History are both awarded School-Level Best Course, and Cultivation of Ethic Thought and Fundamentals of Law Provincial Best Course. Our School stresses on the combination of education and scientific research, with great improvement of teachers’ research ability. Nearly 200 papers are presented at national and provincial core journals, 20 books are published, more than 30 programs are undertaken like National Social Science Fund Project, Key Project of “11th Five-Year” program of National Higher Education, Sino-Germany cooperative project, Provincial Social Science Planning Fund Program, Provincial Social Science Fund Project, Soft Science Project of Provincial Science and Technology Department and etc, and many teaching and research awards are granted at or above the provincial or ministerial levels, 1 outstanding achievement award of National “11th Five-Year” education and scientific research, 7 outstanding achievement awards of Hebei Provincial Academy of Social Sciences.
