Upstream Ayeyawady Confluence Basin Hydropower Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "ACHC"), a joint venture established by the Ministry of Electricity and Energy (MOEE) of Myanmar, SPIC Yunnan International Power Investment Co., Ltd. (SPICYN) and Asia World Company(AWC) . It is registered in Nay Pyi Taw, the capital of Myanmar, on June 18, 2010. ACHC will development the hydro power projects in the Upstream Ayeyawady River Basin under the BOT/JV cooperation mode with the concession rights granted by the Government of Myanmar.
